How to Open PXJ
- 1). Purchase and install the Roxio RecordNow Music Lab software package. You can find a link to the main website for the software program in the Resources section at the bottom of this article. Start up the software by double-clicking on the icon on your computer's desktop.
- 2). Click the File menu and choose "Open Saved Project." You can also open a saved PXJ file by pressing the "CTRL" and "O" keys simultaneously on your keyboard.
- 3). Navigate to where the PXJ file is stored on your computer. Click the name so that it is highlighted and click the "Open" button. Your PXJ project file will open revealing a saved disc burning project from a previous session.
- 4). Insert a blank disc in your CD or DVD burner if you would like to burn this project again. Click the orange circle button on the bottom right-hand side of the screen in order to start the burning process.
- 5). Wait for the project to finish burning. This will take anywhere from a few minutes up to a half an hour depending on the speed of your disc burner. If you changed the PXJ file and wish to save the results, click the "Save" button located underneath the project's playlist.
