How to Get to the Recovery Console with Windows XP Home
- 1). Insert the Windows XP Home installation disk into your CD/DVD-ROM drive, then restart your computer.
- 2). Press any key to boot from the CD-ROM. Press the "R" key when you get to the screen "Welcome to Setup."
- 3). Use your up and down arrow keys to select "Windows XP Home Edition" and press "Enter."
- 4). Enter your administrator password to access the Recovery Console. If you do not have one, press "F6" to allow third-party drivers to continue installation.
