- 1). Click the "Start" button in the lower-left corner of your taskbar; move your cursor to "All Programs" and "Apple." Click the "iTunes" tab to run the program.
- 2). Plug the USB cable into the bottom of your iPod, and plug the other end into your computer's empty USB port.
- 3). Click the "iPod" tab in the iTunes sidebar; click the "Summary" tab in the main iTunes window. Check the box next to "Enable disk use." Click "Apply" to save the changes.
- 4). Double-click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, and double-click the iPod icon. Open a new Windows Explorer window and open your "Music" folder.
- 5). Click on the song or songs you wish to transfer and hold down the mouse to drag them to your iPod's window. Release the mouse button to add the songs.
- 6). Click the back button to return to the main My Computer window, and right-click the iPod icon. Select "Eject" from the pop-up menu.
