How to Download My Lexmark on Windows Vista
- 1). Access the official Lexmark website from your Internet browser. (See resources for website link.)
- 2). Click the "Downloads" tab item, on the site's navigation menu bar, when the Lexmark homepage loads.
- 3). Select one of the thumbnail image links in the "Downloads By Product" section of the page to indicate the type of Lexmark hardware accessory you have for your computer. If you know the model name for your hardware, simply type it in the blank data form below the thumbnail images.
- 4). Click the appropriate operating system tab directly above the first search result to filter and display only the download links associated with your Lexmark hardware and operating system. (One download link should remain. This will be the link for your Lexmark hardware and operating system.)
- 5). Double-click the "Download Now" action below the Download File box when the page redirects to your Lexmark hardware support page.
- 6). Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the file link with the .DMG file extension. This is your Lexmark download.
- 7). Click the "Save" button to store your Lexmark download to your Windows Vista hard drive when its "File Download" window pops up. Follow the installation prompts to complete the download process and Lexmark hardware installation and setup process.
