How to Move Pictures From a Computer to a CD

    • 1). Insert a blank CD into your computer's CD/DVD Writer-Burner drive. A ''CD drive'' window will open, prompting you to choose a program to use with the inserted blank disc. Select the ''Open writable CD folder using Windows Explorer'' option. Confirm by pressing the ''OK'' button. A new window will open up for the writable CD folder.

    • 2). Select all the pictures you wish you move, then click and drag them to the "Writable CD Folder" or Copy and Paste them to the ''Writable CD Folder."

To select all the pictures, click on a picture file within your pictures folder then, perform a keyboard shortcut for ''Select All', by simultaneously pressing the ''CTRL'' key and the letter ''A''. Once all are selected, click and drag them to the "Writable CD Folder." For Copy-Paste, right-click on the selection and choose ''Copy'' from the pop-up menu then go to the ''Writable CD Folder," right click on the contents area and select ''Paste'' from the pop-up menu.

    • 3). Confirm all your pictures are in the ''Writable CD folder." Click on the ''Write these files to CD'' link on the left panel, under ''CD Writing Tasks." A CD Writing Wizard window will open up.

    • 4). Follow the steps in the CD Writing Wizard. Type a name for the CD, click ''Next'' when finished and allow for the CD Writing process to begin and finish without interruption. You will see a progress bar. The CD Writing Wizard will alert you when the process is complete. Click on ''Finish'' to confirm. The CD containing your pictures will pop out.
