- 1). Turn the MT6451 notebook off.
- 2). Plug the external monitor cable into the VGA port on the notebook.
- 3). Turn the computer on. Plug the external monitor power cord into the power outlet and turn it on.
- 4). Select the appropriate options in the "New Display Detected" box that comes up automatically. Click "OK."
- 1). Click the "Start" button. Click "All Programs." Select "Accessories."
- 2). Click "Windows Mobility Center." Click the "Change Display Settings" icon.
- 3). Click the number "2" icon in the "Display Settings" box.
- 4). Adjust the properties of the monitor, such as colors and resolution. Click "OK" to save the changes.
