How to Remove a Rear Door Panel on a 1992 Dodge Dynasty

- 1). Remove the Phillips screws in the armrest that secure the center of the door panel to the door, using the Phillips screwdriver.
- 2). Remove the Phillips screws located on the sides of the door panel.
- 3). Insert the common screwdriver between the lower rear corner of the door panel and the door. Slide the screwdriver along the panel until it contacts one of the trim fasteners. Use the screwdriver to pry the trim fastener out of its hole in the door. Proceed to the next trim fastener and do the same thing. There is a trim fastener about every four or five inches along three sides of the door panel. The top of the panel, or sill, has no fasteners; it simply hooks to a ridge in the door that holds it in place.
- 4). Pull the door panel away from the door just enough to reach behind the door and disconnect the electrical connectors from the power window switch.
- 5). Peel the moisture shield back to gain access to the interior of the door.
