IE7 Does Not Show Text in the Toolbar
- Both Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 8 feature a command bar, which hosts all the icons and functions that you want to have easy access to. This can include Google, weather, email, social media icons. You can customize the icons to suit your style.
- The Internet Explorer 7 command bar default is set to visible. However, some systems are set to display only selective text. This means that sometimes the icon is displayed, and other times the text is displayed instead of the icon.
- You can set your own preferences on the Internet Explorer 7 command toolbar by right-clicking on the toolbar or any icon to open the context menu. From there, click on the "Customize" sub-menu and select "Show All Text" or "Show Selective Text."
- The Show All Text function allows you to display both the icon and the description or text for these icons. This can be handy if you have a lot of icons on your toolbar and can't remember the function for all of them. Similarly, you can select "Show Selective Text" to select the text option for the chosen icon.
