How to Clean Bird Feces

    Hard Surfaces

    • 1). Douse the area with apple cider vinegar. Allow the apple cider vinegar to soak into the surface for 20 minutes.

    • 2). Scrub the area with a mop or scrub brush. Rinse it clean.

    • 3). Spray the area lightly with a disinfectant cleaner. Allow the disinfectant to penetrate for five minutes, and then wipe away with a paper towel.

    • 4). Spray your mop or scrub brush with the disinfectant as well. Allow it to penetrate for five minutes, and then rinse with hot water.

    Fabric

    • 1). Combine 1 tbsp. of dishwashing detergent with 2 cups cold water in a plastic container. Dip a clean soft cloth into the mixture and dab the bird feces stain with the cloth. Continue this process until you no longer see the stain.

    • 2). Fill an eyedropper with hydrogen peroxide and apply a few drops to each stain of bird feces. Dunk your cloth in cold water and dab at the area to flush it.

    • 3). Rinse out your cloth. Fill your eyedropper with a few drops of ammonia. Blot the area with your wet cloth. The stain will be gone. If the fabric is a piece of clothing or something you can put in the wash, launder it as usual.
