How do I Put the "Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix" Video File on an iPod?

    • 1). Make sure there is enough space on your iPod's hard drive, as the movie takes up several gigabytyes (GB) of space.

    • 2). Purchase or rent "Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix" from an online outlet such as iTunes or Amazon.com.

    • 3). Next import the video file into iTunes. If it came from the iTunes store, it should already be there. If it's from somewhere else, right-click the video file on your PC or hold "Contol" on your Mac and select "Open With" and "ITunes" in the pop-up menu. The video will automatically import into your iTunes library and begin playback. Press the "Play" button in the iTunes window to pause the video.

    • 4). Plug the iPod cable into your PC or Mac's USB port, and plug the 30-pin dock end of the iPod cable into the bottom of the iPod to establish a connection between the computer and the iPod.

    • 5). Click the iPod tab in the iTunes' side pane (on the left side of the iTunes window) and click the "Movies" tab. Click the empty checkbox next to "Sync Movies" and click the empty checkbox next to the Harry Potter movie. Click "Apply" to transfer the movie to your iPod. If you're using manual synchronization, click the "Movies" tab in the iTunes' source pane and drag the movie file to the iPod tab.

    • 6). Click "Controls" on the iTunes' menu, and click "Eject iPod" to disconnect the iPod after the movie synchronization is complete.
