How to Turn Off Active Desk Top in XP Pro
- 1). Click the "Start" menu and select "Control Panel."
- 2). Double-click the "Appearance and Themes" icon and then click "Display."
- 3). Click the "Desktop" tab and then click the "Customize Desktop" button.
- 4). Click the "Web" tab in the "Desktop Items" window and uncheck all items in the "Web pages" list.
