How to Activate XP Over the Phone
- 1). Open the start menu, then navigate to "All Programs", then "Accessories", then "System Tools." Click on "Activate Windows."
- 2). Click on "Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to activate Windows now" when the activation wizard appears. Read the privacy statement, then click "Back" and click "Next."
- 3). Call the number that is now given in the activate windows by phone dialogue box. Provide the customer service representative with your activation key, and follow instructions given to complete the activation process.
- 4). Click "OK" when you see the message that you have successfully activated your copy of Windows.
