Wipe Away Vista

• 1). Insert your Vista CD and reboot your computer. You will see a line saying "press any key to boot from CD." Do so.
  
  
• 2). Enter a language, time, currency and date format (it doesn't matter which) and click "Next."
  
  
• 3). Click "Install Now."
  
  
• 4). Click "Next" when asked for a product key. You won't need it for Vista.
  
  
• 5). Click "I accept the license terms" and click "Next."
  
  
• 6). Choose your current hard drive when asked where to install Vista and select "Delete partition." Allow Vista to delete the partition and then reboot the computer.
  
  

Install XP

• 1). Insert your Windows XP Disk into the CD drive and press a key to boot from the disk.
  
  
• 2). Choose "Install" when asked what you want to do.
  
  
• 3). Press "F8" to accept the license agreement.
  
  
• 4). Choose your main hard drive when asked where you want to install Windows XP. You will be asked if you want to format it. Choose "Yes."
  
  
• 5). Enter your product key from the Certificate of Authenticity when prompted for it. Your installation of XP is now complete.
