How to Transfer Songs, Movies and Shows to My iPod
- 1). Connect your iPod to your computer using the Apple USB cable and allow a few seconds for the iTunes program to load automatically onto your desktop.
- 2). Search your computer for songs, movies and shows you would like to add to your iPod. Click on a show to select it, or use the "Shift" key to select multiple songs in a row or the "Ctrl" key to select songs spaced throughout your library.
- 3). Drag and drop these selected songs from your computer's folders onto the homepage library of your iTunes. Allow a few seconds for these songs to load.
- 4). Click the tab for your iPod under the "Devices" menu on the left side of the homepage of your iTunes.
- 5). Select "Music" and click "Sync" to update the new songs on your device, and then select "Movies" and click "Sync" to load your shows and movies to your iPod.
- 6). Allow a few minutes for each form of media to load and disconnect the device once the upper iTunes display reads "OK to disconnect." You will now be able to enjoy your new audio and video files on your iTunes.
