Windows Vista and Windows 7

• 1). Click the "Start" button in the bottom-left corner of your desktop.
  
  
• 2). Scroll up and type "mouse" (without the quotes) in the field, and press the "Enter" key on your desktop.
  
  
• 3). Click "Mouse" when it appears in the list of items. The Mouse Properties window will appear.
  
  
• 4). Click the "Device Settings" tab. Highlight the "ClickPad" entry, and click the "Disable" button.
  
  
• 5). Click the "Apply" button, and select the "OK" button.
  
  

Windows XP

• 1). Click the "Start" button in the bottom-left corner of your desktop.
  
  
• 2). Scroll up, and select "Control Panel."
  
  
• 3). Select "Printers and Other Hardware," and choose "Mouse." The Mouse Properties window will appear.
  
  
• 4). Click the "Device Settings" tab.
  
  
• 5). Highlight the "ClickPad" entry, and click the "Disable" button.
  
  
• 6). Click the "Apply" button, and select the "OK" button.
