How to Turn Off a 2nd Generation iPod Nano
- 1). Slide the tab at the top right corner of the nano back and forth two times. Leave the tab positioned so that the orange stripe beneath it cannot be seen.
- 2). Press and hold down on the “Play/Pause” button at the bottom of the nano’s click wheel with a finger from one hand.
- 3). Release the “Play/Pause” button when the nano’s LCD screen dims out and nothing can be seen on it--this should not take more than 5 or 6 seconds.
