How to Connect Earphones to a TV
- 1). Locate the headphone jack on your TV. On some TVs, the headphone jack is on the front by the speakers, while on other TVs, it is on the side or even the back of the TV. The headphone jack is labeled by either a picture of headphones or the word "Phones."
- 2). Insert the earphone plug into the headphone jack of the TV. Make sure to push the earphone plug completely into the jack so that you get a good connection. Not having the earphones plugged in properly results in poor audio quality.
- 3). Place the earphones over/in your ears depending on the type of earphones you have. Use the volume controls on either the TV or the remote to control the volume.
