How to Use Limewire to Download Music to an Apple iPod

    • 1). Launch Limewire on your desktop and enter the name of a song, album or artist in the upper text bar. Click "Enter."

    • 2). Allow a list of relevant results to populate on the program and double-click on any song you would like to download. Watch as the song loads to 100% at the bottom of the program.

    • 3). Click the "Library" folder on the upper-left side of the player once your song(s) have finished downloading.

    • 4). Connect your iPod to your computer using the Apple USB cable and allow the iTunes program to load automatically onto your desktop.

    • 5). Click the "Music" tab on your iTunes and drag and drop the songs from your Limewire "Library" folder onto your iTunes "Music" page.

    • 6). Click the "Devices" tab on your iTunes and select "Music" on your iPod page.

    • 7). Be sure that all of the songs you would like to add to your iPod are selected with a checkmark and click "Sync" at the bottom of the page.

    • 8). Allow a few seconds for your new songs to sync to your device and disconnect the iPod once the upper iTunes display reads "OK to disconnect."
