How to Transfer iTunes to an iPod
- 1). Open iTunes.
- 2). Plug your iPod into a USB connection on the computer. The device will then be listed under "Devices" on the left side of iTunes.
- 3). Click the iPod under "Devices" to bring up tabs in iTunes. These tabs will open at the top of the center iTunes window.
- 4). Choose the "Summary" tab. The disk options for the iPod that you plugged in (in Step 2) will appear near the bottom of iTunes.
- 5). Click inside the "Manually manage music and videos" box. That setting on your iPod will be turned on.
- 6). Click "Apply" in the bottom right corner of iTunes. Your iPod will now be able to sync with iTunes on your computer and other computers, as well.
- 1). Click on either the "Movies" or "Music" option in the left iTunes column. Which you choose will depend on what type of media you are transferring to the iPod.
- 2). Select the files you want to add to the iPod by clicking on those songs or videos.
- 3). Drag the songs or videos to the iPod under "Devices" to transfer the iTunes files to the iPod.
