How to Troubleshoot Remote Assistance
- 1). Log on to your computer with an account that has administrative privileges.
- 2). Open the "Start" menu, right-click on the "My Computer" icon and choose "Properties."
- 3). Go to the "Remote" tab at the top of the properties window.
- 4). Check the box next to "Allow Remote Assistance invitations to be sent from this computer."
- 5). Click "Apply" to save the settings and enable Remote Assistance.

- 2). Open the "Start" menu and click on the "Control Panel" icon.
- 3). Double-click on the "Windows Firewall" control panel icon.
- 4). Go to the "Exceptions" tab at the top of the window.
- 5). Check the box next to "Remote Assistance" and click "OK" to save the settings. Your computer's firewall is now no longer blocking Remote Assistance.
