How to Find Your Strength Modifier
- 1). Add the bonuses you get from any magical items to your strength score.
- 2). Divide your strength score (with item bonuses) by two and round down.
- 3). Subtract five from the result of Step 2 and round down. For example, if the character has a strength of 18, then you would subtract 5 from 9, giving you 4. This is your base modifier.
- 4). Divide the character's level by 2 and add that to the modifier. Again, round down if the character's level is odd.
