How to Remove Outerinfo Advertisements
- 1). Click "Start," "Search" and select "All Files or Folders."
- 2). Type "Outerinfo" in the search field. Select your local C: drive and click "Search."
- 3). Look for "Outerinfo" in the search results. Right-click on the "Outerinfo" file in the search results list, select "Properties" and write down the file path. For example, it may look like this: "C:\myadware\Outerinfo."
- 4). Click "Start," "Search" and type "cmd" in the search box and press "Enter." This opens the command window. Type in "rmdir" and the file path you wrote down earlier and press "Enter." Example: "rmdir C:\myadware\Outerinfo." Type "Exit" to close out the command prompt.
- 5). Press "CTR + ALT + DEL" simultaneously on your keyboard and select "Task Manager." Select the "Processes" tab. Look for "Outerinfo" in the processes list. Select it and click the "End Process" button.
