How to Connect a Laptop to iPhone Internet
- 1). Enable wireless hotspot service for your iPhone, if you haven't already, by contacting your wireless provider. The service requires an unlimited data plan and costs an additional $10 per month as of spring 2011.
- 2). Tap the "Settings" icon on your iPhone home screen.
- 3). Tap "General" and select "Network."
- 4). Tap "Personal Hotspot."
- 5). Slide the on/off switch for "Personal Hotspot" to "On" by swiping across the switch.
- 6). Set a password for your personal hotspot if you wish to secure the connection.
- 7). Connect to the wireless hotspot from your laptop using the network manager on your computer.
