How to Replace a Dell Inspiron 9300 Laptop Hard Drive
- 1). Shut down the 9300 laptop and close the lid. Remove the battery from the computer and unplug any peripherals that are attached.
- 2). Turn the computer upside down and remove the two screws that hold the hard drive to the side of the computer, which are located near the empty battery bay.
- 3). Pull the hard drive out and set it aside. Place the new hard drive into the hard drive slot, angling it so that it enters in the same way as the one you removed.
- 4). Screw the hard drive in and replace the laptop battery. The hard drive is now replaced.
