How to Install PPM From CPAN

    • 1). Launch your command-line interpreter. Typical Linux or UNIX interpreters are sh, rc and ksh.

    • 2). Type "cpan" in the interpreter and press the Enter key. Select the module you want to download and click on "Get." When the program has completed the download, close it.

    • 3). Open your command-line interpreter again and type "ppm". This will launch PPM's Graphical User Interface (GUI).

    • 4). Click on "All Packages" and click on the package you just downloaded.

    • 5). Press the "+" key on your keyboard, open the File menu and select "Run marked actions." PPM will now finish installing your new Perl module.
