How to Remove Unwanted Folders From Vista Media Center

- 1). Open Windows Media Center from the desktop screen or "Start" menu on the computer.
- 2). Scroll to "Tasks" in the main windows and then click "Settings" followed by "General." This opens Window Media Center's main settings window.
- 3). Click the "Windows Media Center Setup" button and then click "Run Setup Again." Click "Yes" when prompted to confirm this by the on-screen dialog box.
- 4). Click "Next" to navigate through the set-up wizard until you get to the "Library Setup" screen.
- 5). Click the "Stop Watching a Folder" button. Click "Next."
- 6). Scroll through the list of folders and deselect those that you want to remove from Windows Media Center by clicking the check-box to clear it.
- 7). Click "Next" and then "Finish."
