Instructions
1Open the "Settings" app on the home screen.
2
Tap "Wi-Fi" and wait for the iPad to scan your surroundings and list all the wireless networks near you.
3
Find a network in the list of available networks; if the network does not require a password, it will not have a padlock icon next to it in the list. Tap on the network's name to connect. In the future, your iPad will automatically connect to this network whenever it is available. If you do not see the network you want, move closer to the source of the wireless signal, and your iPad will automatically refresh the list of available networks.
