Converting and Downloading YouTube Videos

• 1). Go to the Media Converter Web page.
  
  
• 2). Select "Enter a link" on the far left side of the page. A text box will appear.
  
  
• 3). Paste the link for the YouTube movie you want to put onto the iPod Touch, and click "OK."
  
  
• 4). Choose "Go to the next step," and a drop box will appear.
  
  
• 5). Click the drop box and select "mov." Then, click "OK." Two more buttons will show up on the page.
  
  
• 6). Select "Start" and the file will upload to the website. When it completes, a link labeled "download" will show up on the bottom of the page.
  
  
• 7). Click the "Download" link to save the file on your computer. Save the file in a folder you can easily find, such as "Desktop."
  
  

Add File to iTunes

• 1). Open iTunes.
  
  
• 2). Click "File." Select "Add File to Library." A window will show up on the screen.
  
  
• 3). Find the YouTube movie you saved to your computer (in Section 1).
  
  
• 4). Highlight the YouTube movie and click "Open" to save the movie to the iTunes library. Keep iTunes open as you will be using the program in the next section.
  
  

Add Files to iPod Touch

• 1). Plug the iPod Touch into the computer via one of the USB ports for the computer. The name of the iPod Touch will be listed under "Devices" on the left side of iTunes.
  
  
• 2). Click "Movies" under "Library" on the left side of iTunes, and you will see the YouTube movie (and other video files) you added to iTunes.
  
  
• 3). Highlight the YouTube movie you are going to put on the iPod Touch.
  
  
• 4). Drag the movie to the iPod Touch listed under "Devices." The YouTube movie will be added to the iTouch.
