- 1). Plug the iPod Firewire cable into the bottom of your iPod Mini.
- 2). Insert the other end of the iPod Firewire cable into the Firewire port on the power adapter.
- 3). Plug the power adapter into any standard electrical outlet. The iPod Mini's battery will begin to recharge and should be fully charged in one to two hours.
- 1). Plug the iPod Firewire cable into the bottom of your iPod Mini.
- 2). Plug the other end of the iPod Firewire cable into a free Firewire port on your Mac or PC computer.
- 3). Open the iTunes application by clicking on the dock icon on a Mac or using the Start menu on a PC. The iPod Mini will start using the computer's power to charge its battery. The battery should be fully recharged in one to two hours.
