How to Sync Movies Without Erasing the Data From the iPhone
- 1). Double-click the "iTunes" application icon to launch the application. Click the "Edit" tab and select the "Settings" option from the Edit menu.
- 2). Click the "Devices" tab in the "Settings" or "Preferences" window. Place a checkmark next to the "Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically" option. Click the "OK" button to save the settings.
- 3). Connect the iPhone to the computer through the USB connection cable that came with the device. Click on the iPhone device listed beneath the "Devices" heading in the iTunes application window. Click the "Summary" tab to view the device's settings.
- 4). Place a checkmark next to the "Manually manage music and videos" option beneath the "Options" heading.
- 5). Click the "Movies" option beneath the "Library" heading in the iTunes application window to view the movies stored in the iTunes library. Click on the movie file that you want to sync with the iPhone and drag the file onto the iPhone listed beneath the "Devices" heading. Allow several minutes for the file to transfer.
- 6). Click the "Eject" icon to the right of the iPhone once the file is finished transferring.
