How to Use a VNC Lite App
- 1). Install VNC software on your computer. Remote control programs are available in both free and licensed versions.
- 2). Access the iTunes App Store on your iPhone. Search for the VNC Lite app and download it to your device.
- 3). Launch the VNC Lite app on your iPhone. Select the "Menu" button on the home screen.
- 4). Select the "Edit Connections" option from the app menu. A "Host List" screen will load. Users can connect to up to six computers in this section. Select the first item to set up the first connection.
- 5). Enter the necessary information in the "VNC Server IP Address," "VNC Server Port" and "VNC Password" fields. All of this data can be found on the VNC program that is installed on the computer you are establishing a connection with.
- 6). Select the "Connect" button to view the connected computer on your iPhone. Users can browse the connected computer's desktop, installed programs and stored files.
- 7). Renew the connection by tapping the "+" icon and selecting "Refresh."
- 8). Exit the VNC Lite app by tapping the "+" icon and selecting "Disconnect."
