How to Enable a Print Spooler in Windows XP

- 1). Log on to your computer and click on the "Start" button. Choose "Control Panel" from the list.
- 2). Double-click on the "Administrative Tools" icon. Double-click on "Services" when the Administrative Tools window opens.
- 3). Scroll through the list of services until you reach the Print Spooler option. Double-click on the "Print Spooler" service to see its properties.
- 4). Click the "Startup Type" and choose "Automatic" from the list. This will ensure that the print spooler service starts each time the computer does.
- 5). Right-click on the "Print Spooler" service and choose "Start" to start the service manually. This should enable you to print your documents or add a printer.
