- 1). Navigate to the ST-WARE website. Download and save the CMOS De-Animator Version 2.0 application to your computer.
- 2). Browse to the folder on your computer where you saved the CMOS De-Animator setup file. Double-click the file to launch the CMOS De-Animator Version 2.0 program on your computer. Click and select the "256-Byte CMOS (0x00 to 0xFF)" option under the "Bytes to operate with:" header if using Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 as your operating system.
- 3). Click and select the "Save CMOS" option on the right side of the screen.
- 4). Insert a blank floppy disk or connect a USB flash drive to your PC. Wait for the drive to initialize. Click the "Proceed!" button. When the pop-up window appears, navigate to the floppy drive or USB flash drive installed on your computer. Press the "Save" button to back up the BIOS settings to the desired storage device.
