How to Unlock the Samsung T729
- 1). Turn on your Samsung T729. Dial *#06# on the handset. Write down the IMEI number that now appears.
- 2). Call T-Mobile USA customer service. Explain to the customer service representative that you want the unlock code to your Samsung T729. Give the representative your IMEI number that you wrote down in Step 1. Give the representative a valid email address to send the unlock code to when T-Mobile USA receives it from Samsung.
- 3). Turn off your Samsung T729 when you receive the unlock code in your email messages. Slide the battery cover up and off the handset. Lift the battery away from the back of the phone. Remove the T-Mobile USA SIM card from the SIM card holder. Slide a SIM card from another provider into the holder, gold contacts face down, until you feel the SIM card lock into place. Replace the phone battery and battery cover. Turn on your Samsung T729.
- 4). Click "Ok" when you see the message that warns you that the current SIM card is not recognized. Enter the unlock code into the field provided. Press the enter key. Use your Samsung T729 as desired after you see the confirmation message that the SIM is now unlocked.
