How to Keep Defenseware From Redirecting

- 1). Click “Start” located at the bottom-left of your screen.
- 2). Type “Windows Defender” in the Search box at the bottom of the Start menu and press “Enter.” The Windows Defender tool launches.
- 3). Click “Scan” from the top-left of the Windows Defender program, then select “Full Scan.” Windows Defender searches your entire computer for the virus or malware that is causing the Defenseware redirects. The files are then quarantined and automatically removed. The complete scan and removal process can take several minutes to several hours depending on how many files are on your computer.
- 4). Click the “X” located in the upper-right corner of Windows Defender to close the program after the virus or malware causing the redirects has been removed.
