Steps on How to Put Videos onto Your iPod
- 1). Plug one end of the USB cable that came with your iPod into the device and the other end into a USB port on your computer. Your computer will automatically recognize the device and open up iTunes (install iTunes and move your video files into it, if you haven't already).
- 2). Look in the left-hand column of iTunes for an icon of your iPod. Below the icon are selections for "Music," "Movies," and "TV Shows." Open your preferred content section. Find the specific video you want, and click and hold on its title. Now drag it onto the icon for your iPod and release it. The video will automatically begin the copying process onto your iPod (typical transfer time is around five minutes).
- 3). Once you've transferred all desired videos onto your iPod, click the round eject button to the right of the iPod icon in the left-hand column. Wait a few seconds until the icon disappears from iTunes, and your iPod screen gives the message that it's okay to eject the iPod. Remove your iPod from the USB cable.
