How to Uninstall IE 8 Beta in XP
- 1). Click the "Start" button on the desktop toolbar.
- 2). Select Control Panel from the Start menu.
- 3). Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
- 4). Wait for Windows XP to populate the Currently Installed Programs box. This can take a few minutes if the computer has a lot of software installed.
- 5). Read through the alphabetical list and find Internet Explorer 8 (Beta).
- 6). Click the program to select it and then click the "Remove" button. Click "Yes" if prompted to confirm that you want to remove the program.
- 7). Wait for the program to uninstall. Windows XP displays a progress bar during this process.
