How to Burn a Boot DVD
- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Control Panel." Click "System and Security" and then click "Back up your computer" to open several system recovery options.
- 2). Click "Create a system repair disc" on the left side panel. This opens a wizard that helps you create the boot disc. Insert the blank disc in the computer's disc drive.
- 3). Select the drive that contains your blank disc from the drop-down box.Click "Create disc" to make the blank CD or DVD bootable. Remove the disc when you receive the confirmation window and store the boot disc in a safe location.
