Gigabit Switch Tutorial
- 1). Connect one end of an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of each individual device.
- 2). Connect the other end of each Ethernet cable into an open Ethernet port on the gigabit switch. Any available port is acceptable, except for the uplink port, if one is present.
- 3). Power on the gigabit switch.
- 4). View the LED indicator lights on the switch to determine the connection status of all of the connected devices.
