How to Reinstall PQService
- 1). Back up any important information on your computer. During the Windows reboot process, you could lose data. Save it to a CD-ROM, flash drive or external hard drive.
- 2). Insert the Windows CD into your computer's disk drive. Turn on your computer. Press a key on your keyboard when the "Press any key to boot up from CD/DVD" message appears.
- 3). Press "Enter" at the Welcome screen. Press "F8" to accept the Windows licensing agreement. If the computer detects an existing Windows installation, it will ask if you want to repair it. Press "Esc" to skip this step.
- 4). Use the arrow keys to select which partition you want to use. Select D to select an existing partition, or C to select a new partition. Press "Enter" twice.
- 5). Follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall Windows. You will have to provide the product key, found on your CD package. You may also be asked to register with Windows by entering your full name, street address and email address.
- 6). Wait for Windows to complete the reinstallation. It will reinstall all of the software and components of the OS, including PQService. After the reinstallation, your computer will restart.
