Occupy Protests - Are They Out of Control?

Well, I hate to rain on anyone's parade, especially the world renowned Rose Parade.
Nevertheless, it appears that the occupy protesters have some plans of their own, and it doesn't concern the weather.
The occupy protesters have announced to the media that rather than occupying the Park, they wish to go occupy the parade.
What does that mean? Are they planning on blocking the parade route? If so, that's a real slap in the face.
Let's go ahead and talk about this for a second shall we? There was a rather disturbing article in the LA Times which was titled; "Occupy protesters take aim at Rose Parade," published on December 22, 2011, which stated; "Pasadena police and Tournament of Roses officials have been negotiating with Occupy leaders for several weeks to prevent problems.
Protesters will be allowed to march after all the floats have gone.
" Indeed this makes no sense whatsoever, as it is the 99% who enjoy that parade and even camp out overnight to get a good spot to watch the parade.
Will those who come early to get a good viewing location, now be considered or suspected of being occupy protestors? What about all the kids in HS Bands, and all the non-profit groups that are involved raising money, for many it is their biggest fundraiser all year.
Now then, here is my comment; "How dare the occupy protestors attack the 99% who have come to love the Rose Parade each year!" In fact, I bet I am not alone in thinking this way, "enough is enough" I say.
This parade will go on no matter what, but with the threats of the occupiers, there will certainly be more security, more police, and the chance for chaos.
That's not fair for all the families who bring their kids, some of which are coming from far away states and this may be their only opportunity to see it.
It is one of the most viewed parade on TV in the United States, but apparently the occupiers seem to want to march in the parade as well, or cause sound and fury disrupting the event with a protest.
Have the occupiers overstayed their welcome? Is it time for America to stand up and say; "we don't want this anymore, you don't represent us, we aren't interested in all of your potpourri of causes any longer.
It was cute and interesting at first, but now it is just a complete nuisance.
" As far as I'm concerned the occupy protesters are not winning the hearts and minds of the American people.
In fact, they are making all Americans look bad at this point, especially if they attempt to disrupt the Rose Parade.
Please consider all this and think on it.
