North and South Korea at it Again - Just in Time For Obama"s Visit
Apparently, the North Koreans are making waves again, this time off the West Coast between their national boundaries and that of the South Koreans in the disputed area.
The South Korean Navy warned the North Korean vessel three times, fired a warning shot, then fired upon them.
Of course, return fire was initiated, and then the N.
Korean navy ship retreated.
A month prior the N.
Koreans let massive flood waters out of their dam without warning causing deaths in South Korea.
Two months before that they launched more missiles in another test and bowed out of the UN nuclear proliferation agreement talks.
CNN reported that; "U.
S.
President Barack Obama is scheduled to visit South Korea as part of a trip to Asia beginning Thursday," so it is just like the North Koreans to pull something like this now.
Interestingly enough, we may also see some more missile tests to boot, before President Obama then makes a quick visit into Afghanistan to prove he is doing his job as Commander in Chief, after his Asian vacation to announce the adding of 30,000 more troops say think tank analysts.
It seems as if Kim Jong Il wants to take the show away from President Obama who is there to talk about trade issues, and Obama is already looking bad after adding tariffs on both Tires and Steel Pipe, claiming China is "dumping" on US markets.
Meanwhile, China is concerned and has issued statements to the West at their talks in Egypt that the US needs to watch it's spending as China has a lot of money invested there [in US Treasuries].
It is obvious that President Obama is getting hit from all sides, and being upstaged by third world dictators, communists, socialists, and the conservatives back at home as his popularity sinks in the polls.
Is Jong Il making our Commander in Chief ineffectual or is he and his PR team doing it to themselves these days? Maybe it's time for more than a beer between police officers and professors, maybe he needs to be sat down for a fire side chat?
