Polybags were hailed as a wonder. They are light ,cheap and easy to carry.They freed us from carrying cloth bags,jute bags,etc.but have you ever thought that how much immense harm does polybags cause to our mother earth.nope, we all are this much busy in our lives that we did not even bother about the place where we live.Not only this,polybags are hailed to chok soil and drains, they also cause several harmful diseases in animals as they cause food contamination and animal deaths.it also affects human lives indirectly. Polybags in the present era are the major source of pollution on earth.
HOW DO THEY AFFECT OUR ENVIRONMENT,ANIMALS AND HUMAN BEINGS????
The answer cannot be defined in simple words, even we can say that it is impossible to determine the harmful ways in which they affect all our surroundings.Over the last twenty years the environment has been degraded with non-biodegradable polybags.Being light , non porous, they obstruct free flow of water and air.The quality of soil is degraded and plants are not able to grow properly.As we all know polybags are light in weight they causes water logging in drain.
The animals such as cows and stray dogs die due to consumption of polybags. This has been proven very dangerous for the lives of people and living creatures living on earth...
WHAT IS THE ULTIMATE SOLUTION??????????
We surely have to find an alternative for polybags, otherwise they will totally destroy the eaths natural beauty.The solution is we have to use jute bags, cloth bags etc. We have to carry them with us.Seeing such critical situations indian government has banned polybags in HIMACHAL PRADESH AND SOME AREAS OF GUJARAT.Which is a positive step towards a safe environment.Its very important to prevent our beautiful earth from such a menace,otherwise earth will soon be turned into a barren planet.
