How to Germinate Crimson King Maple Seeds

    • 1). Mix together equal parts of the sand, coco peat and perlite; pour the mixture into the seeding flat or planting pot. Pack the soil down firmly with your hands.

    • 2). Plant the entire crimson king fruit 1 inch deep into the planting mix and cover lightly with soil.

    • 3). Mist the soil with the plant misting bottle until the soil is completely wet, and allow the excess water to drain from the bottom of the flat or pot.

    • 4). Place the flat or pot into a plastic bag and close it with a twist tie or rubber band.

    • 5). Place the bagged flat or pot into the refrigerator and allow it to remain there for 90 to 140 days.

    • 6). Remove the flat or pot from the refrigerator and set on a heating mat, set to 70 degrees. Mist the soil to maintain moisture and mist the seedlings daily when they appear.

    • 7). Seedlings are ready to be transplanted when they have 4 leaves.
