- 1). Find your music folder on your computer. If you're using a Mac, this will be found under the directory "/Users/username/Music." If you're using Windows, open "My Documents," then double-click on "My Music." You'll see an iTunes folder here.
- 2). Click and drag the iTunes folder from your music folder onto the desktop.
- 3). Connect your iPod with your computer using the USB cable that comes with your iPod.
- 4). Open your iPod. If you're using a Mac, the iPod will appear on your desktop after it's connected. If you're using Windows, you'll find your iPod in the "My Computer" section. Click on "Start," then "My Computer" to locate it.
- 5). Click and drag the iTunes folder out of your iPod into your "Music" folder if you're using a Mac, or your "My Music" folder if you're using Windows.
- 6). Open iTunes. All of the music on your iPod has been transferred to your computer.
