How to Disk Enable an iTouch
- 1). Use 4Media iPod to PC Transfer. This program is also available for Macintosh computers, and easily connects your iPod Touch to your computer via USB cable. Once connected, simply click the "Add Files to iPod" button and select the files you want to add to your iPod Touch. Once the files are transferred, simply exit the program and disconnect your iPod Touch from your computer.
- 2). Use Xilisoft iPod Rip. Similar to 4Media's iPod to PC Transfer, Xilisoft's iPod Rip also provides two-way media transfer, and provides disk use on your iPod Touch. The program allows you to use the software for free for 30 days, and afterward you must purchase an activation key to continue using it.
- 3). Use 4Easysoft iPod Manager. This program combines the features of three different software products from 4Easysoft into one package, which provides iPod disk use, two-way transfers and DVD to iPod transfer. Connect your iPod Touch to your computer using the USB cable, and open the program. Click the selected files to add to your iPod Touch to highlight them. Click the "iPod to Computer" button to transfer the files to your iPod Touch.
