How to Connect a USB Interface Cable

    • 1). Look at the ends of the USB cable. At least one end will have a long, flat connector. The other end may have a smaller connector, or one of a similar size.

    • 2). Insert the long, flat connector into a USB port on your computer. Don't force it, as there is only one way for it to go in. Flip it over if it is not going in.

    • 3). Insert the smaller end, or the similar end, into the port on the peripheral. There are a couple of different available types of connectors (mini and micro), so be sure to use the cable that came with the device. There is only one way to fit the connector in, so flip it over if it is not fitting.
