How to Repair a Sharp MiniDisc
- 1). Check the AC power supply outlet and battery levels if the device does not turn on.
- 2). Remove any moisture inside the device. Condensation can form and short out the circuits.
- 3). Verify that the device is not in "Hold" mode. Slide the "Hold" switch down to cancel that function.
- 4). Check the volume level to verify that it is set high enough to hear. Also check that earphones are not plugged in.
- 5). Check the MiniDisc format. Verify that the MiniDisc contains music and not data if you cannot hear any sounds.
- 6). Replace discs where data or music cannot be read, recorded, or saved.
