How to Set Up IVA 3.5
- 1). Turn on the computer that you wish to install IVA 3.5 onto and wait for the operating system to load. This computer must be connected to your video surveillance system. Do not insert the installation disc or press any buttons until the system is loaded. When it is ready, insert the installation disc in the optical drive.
- 2). Wait for the installation wizard to appear. If it does not, open "My Computer" and double-click on the icon for the CD drive that the disc is in. When the first screen appears, click on the "Install" button to begin setting up IVA 3.5.
- 3). Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation of the program. You will first need to choose a location to save the program to by clicking on the folder icon that appears on the second screen, selecting a folder and clicking "Next." Read the license agreement and click "Next" again. Wait for the installation bar to reach 100 percent and you will see an installation code. Write this number down and click "Finish."
- 4). Open an Internet browser and go to the Bosch Security Activation page (see Resources.) Enter the email address and password that you set up when you purchased the software. Here you will see your personal security homepage. Click on the "License Activation" button.
- 5). Enter the authorization number that you received when you purchased the software and click "Next." You will be asked for the installation code from Step 2. Type this number into the box and click "Submit." You will see an activation code, which you can write down or highlight and copy.
- 6). Click on the "My Account" tab on the left side of the screen to return to your homepage. Click on the "Settings" tab, followed by the "Services" option. Click on the "Licensing" button and enter or paste the activation code in the provided space. Click "Set" to finish the process.
