How to Put Music on iPod Shuffle for Free
- 1). Connect the iPod shuffle dock to an open USB port on your computer and mount your iPod on the dock. Wait for the iTunes application to launch.
- 2). Click "File" on the menu bar and click "Add To Library." Click the files you want to upload to the iPod shuffle and click "Add" to copy the music into the iTunes library.
- 3). Click the entry for the music file you want to upload to the iPod shuffle. Drag the file onto the "iPod shuffle" entry in the "Devices" list. iTunes will upload the music file to your iPod shuffle for free.
